English Sterling Silver Wine Coaster - Unknown Maker, est. late 19th Century Half Dollar Prosperity seated with cornucopia flankedModest overall wear commensurate with age. Overall excellent. Sterling [LION] clearly visible. Etched with Hand Arm holding a scimitar Wooden base with felt for the bottom. 4 7 8" diameter. 1 3 8" tall. Total weight: 5. 787 toz Interesting piece. The hallmarks for location and date are obscured due to the way the silver is folded around the wooden inside coaster. I did my best to try to discern a date but I'm just not comfortable trying to be exact
