1901 Pan-American Exposition Gilt Bronze Medal by Gorham KM.377.3 sceptres in angles Designer ObverseNew specimens of this scarce medal rarely show up on the market these days. Designed by Hermon A. MacNeil MacNeil is best known as the designer of the Standing Liberty Quarter. The obverse features Liberty and a Buffalo and the reverse depicts a South American Native Amerian smoking a peace pipe with a North American Native American. The medal is 63. 5 mm in diameter and is minted in bronze gilt. This specimen was awarded to the American Tool &
