Makes sense, then, that this is sourced from grower Larry Mettlers vineyard in Lodi, a region famous for its old vine Zinfandel. Mettlers family has been in the wine business since the 1770s (not a typo!), and have been growing grapes in Lodi since 1899. This is a perfect example of old vine Lodi Zin: fruit forward, soft textured, and bursting forth with jammy raspberry and spice notes.
