was brought into the gallery by the great-great-grandson of the original Lefevre-Utile family

Unlined and in very good condition

but "Bière de Garde ("beer for keeping") is a  strong pale ale of keeping beer traditionally brewed in Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France
