The CTH Ericson hat and cap factory started up in the Swedish town of Borlnge in 1885 by Carl Theodor Ericson. Mr. Ericson was a fourth generation hat maker and when he passed on in 1927, his son Nils carried on with the family business. The business flourished and the factory grew bigger in 1943. The number of workers peaked at 230 workers in the 50's and the factory was
