Artists such as Theodor Krner, Josef Wackerle, August Ghring and Luise Terletzki Scherf shaped the manufactory's unmistakable style by giving their figurines a lifelike representation and unique color splendor as well as an idiosyncratic character. Today, Nymphenburg's range includes a good 700 animal figurines. Being immortalized as an artefact is by
